New Centerpiece For Charlotte 49ers
Charlotte 49ers fans will be greeted by a new centerpiece in Halton Arena when the 2016-17 athletic season begins this fall as Daktronics (NASDAQ-DAKT) of Brookings, South Dakota, has been selected by the university to produce a new centerhung LED video display system. The system, designed and manufactured by Daktronics, will be installed this summer.
“We are thrilled to be able to enhance the atmosphere in Halton Arena and to deliver a larger-than-life in-game experience to Niner Nation,” said 49ers Director of Athletics Judy Rose. “The state-of-the-art system that Daktronics has designed includes the latest technology available on displays that are nearly 150% larger. It’s a first-class system and our fans will love the added excitement it brings to our games. We can’t wait to unveil it!”
