Killer Of CPCC Counselor Due In Court Today

Confessed killer Matthew Benner, 28, is expected to appear in Mecklenburg County Court today for the murder of Central Piedmont Community College student counselor Amanda Strous, 27.

Benner intentionally set fire to Strous’s apartment—she was pulled from her burning apartment by firefighters and taken to hospital where she died from injuries.
