Queens University Charlotte Swimmer, Yannick Plasil, Named Swimmer Of The Week
For the first time in his career, Yannick Plasil was named the ASUN Swimmer of the Week, announced by the conference office Tuesday afternoon.
Plasil, a senior from Oberhausen, Germany, took home a first-place finish in the 200-Yard Fly against No. 21 Virginia Tech with a time of 1:45.61 on Friday, Jan. 5.
The night also included a season-best time for Plasil of 1:52.25 in the 200-Meter Backstroke. Additionally, he finished runner-up in the 400-Yard Individual Medley at the same meet — sporting a time of 4:00.06.
