Indigenous People Have Been Erased Says UNC Greensboro Student And President of the Native American Student Association

In an interview with UNC Greensboro News, Sky Kihuwa-Mani, a senior biology major and neurobiologist at UNC Greensboro, and president of the Native American Student Association (NASA) since 2019, replied to queries regarding Indigenous Peoples’ Day. The State of North Carolina is home to more than 122,000 Native Americans and has the largest Native American population on the East Coast.
