Lenoir-Rhyne University Football Player Dead From Multiple Gunshot Wounds

A Charlotte area athlete enrolled as a sophomore football player at Lenoir-Rhyne University was shot multiple times inside his car at the Civitan Court Apartments in Hickory, NC. Omari Alexander, a former standout at Mallard Creek High School in Charlotte, NC was pronounced dead at the scene.
