Queens University Charlotte Women’s Heptathlon Teams Make History
The Queens University of Charlotte women’s heptathlon outdoor track and field teams made history at the David Noble Relays in San Angelo, TX as numerous records and personal bests were broken.
Coach Krolick said, “Proud of our multi-event athletes. Coach Pesic’s athletes have rewritten the record in bold. Last year on the men’s side and this year on the women’s side. Great to see them take advantage of the opportunity. Melanie Welsing is showing us that Queens will be successful at the NCAA D1 level. She is leading the way with marks that rank amongst the top in D1 just like she did in D2. Setting the bar high for those who follow!”
