UNC Asheville Hosts “Women Of Distinction: If You Can See It, You Can Be It!”

Portraits by WNC artist Joseph Anthony Pearson will be on exhibit at UNC Asheville’s Ramsey Library from Aug. 9 to Sept. 30. The exhibit is free and open to the public. will host featuring

Titled “Women of Distinction: If you can see it, you can be it!”, the collection of paintings feature women who have worked with determination to shape and support their families and communities. Along with family members, Pearson’s “Women of Distinction” collection includes portraits of female leaders in the Asheville community who have strived to make Western North Carolina a kinder and more inclusive place.
