UNC Charlotte Baseball Opens Fall World Series
The annual Fall World Series for the Charlotte baseball program begins this afternoon to start wrapping up the team portion of fall practice. Teams were drafted on Monday and will play with a lot on the line, not to mention bragging rights for the rest of the year. Matt Brooks and Colby Bruce are team captains and will lead their respective squads in this year’s showdown. “The CLT Fall World Series is our most competitive (and fun) phase of the fall for our program,” began Head Coach Robert Woodard. “It is an opportunity for our players to compete against one another in the uniform and show what they got.”
