UNC Charlotte Dance Alumna Makes It In New York

UNCC dance alumna Laura Dearman ’18 has been promoted to a principal dancer position with Neville Dance Theatre, a Manhattan-based contemporary ballet company founded in 2005 by Brenda R. Neville.

In a public announcement of the promotion, the company praised Dearman as “a dancer of great diversity, commitment, artistry, integrity, and kindness” and “a ray of light and a grounding force throughout the last four years.”
