Clemson Students Engineer First-Of-Its-Kind High-Speed Autonomous Race Car
The 40-student team unveiled their finished self-driving racecar in Indianapolis, wrapping up a whirlwind 18-month design cycle resulting in one of the most advanced self-driving projects ever attempted. Later this year, the Clemson car will be duplicated around a dozen times for use in a head-to-head autonomous race — making it one of the first university-designed vehicles to go into series production.
