Furman’s Gabbi Jennings Sets Program Record And Qualifies For The NCAA Championships
Furman University Gabbi Jennings won the 3,000m Steeplechase, setting a program record in the process in the final day of the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships East Preliminaries, which were hosted by the University of North Florida and the Jacksonville Sports Council in Jacksonville, Fla.
A senior from Slidell, La., Jennings posted a time of 9:40.53 for the victory and qualified automatically for the NCAA Championships, which are set from June 9-12 in Eugene, Oregon.
