UNC Sophomore Imagination Fails During Talk

During her speaking assignment on national politics, UNC political science major Tracy Strake, failed to overcome her nervousness when she imagined her classmates in their underwear. “It got pretty realistic. I could actually visualize everyone in their underwear. Then, I don’t know why, I imagined a couple of them in their birthday suits and that freaked me out. Started fidgeting my papers. My voice got shaky and my throat went very dry. It turned into a nightmare.”

UNC resident psychologist, Ernst Yeger, explained that next time Strake has a speaking assignment, “She may have to resort to imagining her audience putting their pants on, one leg at a time, like everybody else.”
