UNCW Hosts Live Discussion Of Fox’s New Drama “Our Kind Of People” Filmed In Wilmington

The University of North Carolina Wilmington’s Upperman African-American Cultural Center hosted a Facebook Live event with Black UNCW faculty members talking about the premiere of Fox’s new Wilmington-shot drama “Our Kind of People.”

Panelists included sociologist Dr. Candice Robinson, anthropologist Dr. Kaia Shivers, English department chair Dr. Tiffany Gilbert and Dr. Emmanuel Harris II of Spanish and Africana Studies. Upperman director Sean Palmer hosted.
