Western Carolina University Shows the Moon, Jupiter, Saturn In A Telescope Viewing
The Department of Chemistry and Physics at Western Carolina University hosted a telescope viewing yesterday from 5:30-9 p.m. on the 5th floor terrace of the new Apodaca Science Building at the WCU Campus. Astronomy faculty were there to show the moon, Jupiter, Saturn and other highlights of the fall evening sky. Enrique Gómez shared some hints about holiday telescope shopping for families and amateurs. The event was free and open to the public.
