Queens University Charlotte Prof Releases Latest Album
Jennifer Piazza-Pick, soprano, assistant professor of music at Queens, released her latest album across all digital platforms.
Her ensemble, Whistling Hens, is dedicated to performing music by women composers. The duo hatched at the centennial of a quote by a male music critic who said of Lili Boulanger in 1918, “women composers are at best whistling hens.”
