Queens University Melanie Welsing Named 2021 100-Meter Hurdles National Champion
The 2021 NCAA DII Men’s and Women’s Track & Field Championships closed today with seven Royals competing on the final day. Highlighting the Championship was Melanie Welsing being named the 2021 100-Meter Hurdles National Champion while all nine Queens athletes who competed at the Championships earned first or second-team All-American honors in at least one event.
Additionally, the Queens women’s track and field team completed the Championships in ninth place with 31 points setting new program records in points and team finish. Queens’ men finished 30th with eight points.
