“Together We Rise” At Queens University Charlotte January 18
On the heels of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the Charlotte Symphony, led by Resident Conductor Christopher James Lees, explores themes of freedom, strength, and justice through works by a diverse range of composers including Carlos Simon’s deeply moving Portrait of a Queen and Queens Composer-in-Residence Malek Jandali’s Elegy.
