The 49ers baseball team is close to wrapping up a regular season ranked #18, and playing excellent ball. They currently lead the country with 112 doubles on the year with Austin Knight’s 25 still leading the country as well. Charlotte also sits 3rd nationwide with 479 hits. Knight leads C-USA and is 5th overall with his 70 hits on the year. On the pitching side, Bryce McGowan has been Mr. Reliable on Friday night’s starting in all 12 opportunities which is fourth in the nation while Jackson Boss and his 25 appearances out of the bullpen ranks eighth.
