UNC Charlotte Prof Talks On Infoveillance For Public Health
Dr. Shi Chen explored some of his recent research in a talk at the Models of Infectious Disease Agent Studies (MIDAS) Webinar Series. The talk was entitled “Characterizing Public Opinions Towards COVID-19 for Infoveillance.” During this talk, he highlighted the importance of effective infosurveillance from extensive social media data for public health decision-makers during emergencies.
