Charlotte Standout Isa Torres Selected Unanimously For Preseason All-American Conference

Junior attacker Isa Torres was named a unanimous Preseason All-American Conference selection by the league’s coaches on Tuesday (Feb. 3) afternoon, becoming Charlotte’s second Preseason selection in the team’s first two seasons and the first to be voted in unanimously.

The Glenelg, Md. native is coming off a stellar 2025 campaign where she earned First Team All-Conference honors after finishing second on the Niners with 66 points in the team’s inaugural season, tallying a team-high 55 goals along with 11 assists. The former transfer from Virginia Tech finished tied for 22nd nationally in goals per game (3.44), second in the American in goals, and third in points per game. A prolific scorer, Torres would finish the season as the Conference leader in shot percentage, at .545.

After being a three-time American Weekly Award Honorable Mention in 2025, along with becoming one of three Niners to claim First Team All-Conference recognition, Torres joins former teammate Lily Barger on the list of Charlotte players to earn Preseason All-Conference recognition.

The Charlotte Women’s Lacrosse team officially begins its second season on Saturday, Feb. 7 at Noon, hosting the Vermont Catamounts at Jerry Richardson Stadium in Interim Head Coach Sarah Stagaard‘s first game at the helm of the program. Admission is free for all fans.
