New Exhibits In The Central Piedmont College Archives — Now Through December 2026

Two new displays are open in the Central Piedmont College Archives, found on the third floor of the Hagemeyer Library in the Parr Center. Each exhibit highlights important moments from Central Piedmont’s past and offers a look at the people and places that helped shape the college.

What’s on display 

  • Behind the curtains: Exploring the history of theater at Central Piedmont 
    Features several influential individuals who worked with Tom Vance, creator of the drama program, the college’s first auditorium and select productions from the early years of theater at Central Piedmont. 
  • Then & now: Central Campus 
    Showcases locations in and around Central Piedmont that no longer exist such as Van Every Hall, Jimmie’s Restaurant, the Double Door Inn and more. 

When to visit 

  • The displays are open now through Dec. 2026 
  • Location: Central Campus, Hagemeyer Library, Parr Center, third floor
