UNC Alumnus Founder Of The Robertson Scholars Dies
Billionaire investor Julian Robertson, whose hedge fund once ranked among the world’s biggest and most successful hedge funds in the world, has died at age 90.
With his wife, Josie, Robertson gave millions to his alma mater, University of North Carolina, and Duke University to establish a pioneering collaborative program, The Robertson Scholars, to recruit and support extraordinary undergraduate students to study at both campuses.
