UNC Charlotte Researchers Fight COVID-19 From The Sewer Up
From COVID’s onset, UNC Charlotte bioinformatics researcher Cynthia Gibas and a team of researchers from bioinformatics, environmental engineering, public health, and geography and earth sciences drove UNC Charlotte’s effort to combat the virus through a novel approach to detecting the virus in the campus sewer system.
